Product overview
The HCPL-316J (A316J marking) is a 2.5A peak-output isolated IGBT gate-driver optocoupler. It provides desaturation detection, isolated fault-status feedback, under-voltage lockout and soft shutdown for protected power switching. The device operates from a 15V to 30V output-side supply, offers approximately 500 ns propagation delay and can drive IGBTs up to 1200V and 150A. Applications include motor drives, inverters, welding equipment and UPS systems. Supplied in an SO-16 package.
