The EPON OLT PX20++++ is a high-power SFP optical transceiver module designed for compatible EPON Optical Line Terminal (OLT) equipment. The photographed module is clearly labeled EPON-OLT-PX20++++ and is intended for FTTH, FTTB, ISP and telecom Passive Optical Network deployments.
The module provides symmetrical 1.25Gbps TX / 1.25Gbps RX operation over a single optical fiber. On the OLT side it transmits downstream at 1490nm and receives upstream optical signals at 1310nm.

The module is marked +10dBm optical transmit power. High-power EPON OLT modules are intended for optical distribution networks where a larger optical power budget may be required.
The PX20++++ designation is used commercially for enhanced/high-power PX20 OLT modules. Exact optical power limits and receiver sensitivity can vary between manufacturers, so network design should use the specifications of the actual module rather than relying only on the number of “+” symbols.
The module uses wavelength-division operation over a single fiber. The OLT transmits downstream traffic at 1490nm and receives the ONU/ONT upstream signal at 1310nm.
The product label specifies a rated distance of 20KM. Actual achievable reach depends on the complete optical distribution network, including fiber attenuation, splitter loss, connector loss, splice loss and ONU/ONT optical characteristics.
This is an EPON OLT optical module, not a standard Ethernet SFP and not a GPON OLT module. Compatibility must be verified with the exact OLT chassis, PON service board, firmware and required optical specifications before installation.
