Huawei SmartAX MA5683T Customized 32-Port EPON / GPON OLT – Without PON Modules
The Huawei SmartAX MA5683T is a carrier-class Optical Line Terminal (OLT) platform designed for FTTH, FTTB, ISP and telecom fiber access networks.
This customized package is configured with two 16-port PON service boards, providing a total of 32 PON service ports. Customers can select either an EPON configuration with 2 × EPFD boards or a GPON configuration with 2 × GPFD boards.
Important: This package is supplied WITHOUT PON optical modules. The optical transceiver modules required for the EPFD or GPFD service-board ports must be purchased separately.

32-Port EPON Option – 2 × EPFD
For an EPON network, the MA5683T is configured with 2 × EPFD service boards. Each board provides 16 PON positions, giving the system a total of 32 EPON ports.
EPON PON optical modules are not supplied with this package. Appropriate EPON OLT optical modules must be selected separately according to the required optical budget and network design.
32-Port GPON Option – 2 × GPFD
For a GPON network, the MA5683T is configured with 2 × GPFD service boards. With 16 PON positions per board, the two-board configuration provides 32 GPON ports.
GPON PON optical modules are not supplied with this package. Compatible GPON OLT optical modules must be purchased separately according to the required optical class and network design.
