Connected infrastructure engineered for speed and resilience.
The Intel X710-DA4 is an enterprise-class quad-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet network adapter designed for servers, virtualization platforms, data centers, cloud infrastructure, and high-performance storage networks. Featuring four SFP+ network ports and a PCI Express 3.0 x8 host interface, it provides high-bandwidth connectivity with advanced virtualization and traffic-management capabilities.
The X710-DA4 provides four independent SFP+ ports, with each port supporting 10GbE and 1GbE operation. This makes the adapter an excellent solution for server consolidation, redundant networking, virtualization clusters, storage traffic, and other bandwidth-intensive applications.
Using a PCI Express 3.0 x8 interface operating at up to 8.0 GT/s, the X710-DA4 provides sufficient host bandwidth for demanding multi-port networking workloads while maintaining efficient CPU utilization.
The adapter supports Intel Virtualization Technology for Connectivity (VT-c), including PCI-SIG SR-IOV, Virtual Machine Device Queues (VMDq), Flexible Port Partitioning, and on-chip QoS and traffic management. These capabilities make it particularly suitable for VMware, Hyper-V, Linux KVM, Proxmox, and other virtualized server environments.
Intel Data Direct I/O Technology and intelligent networking offloads help improve packet-processing efficiency and reduce CPU overhead. The adapter also supports storage-over-Ethernet applications including iSCSI and NFS.
