MikroTik
MikroTik RouterOS Level 6 (L6) UEFI License for x86 – the highest traditional RouterOS Controller license level for compatible x86 router systems. Level 6 provides unlimited PPPoE, PPTP, L2TP and OVPN tunnels, HotSpot active users, VLAN interfaces, queues, User Manager sessions, bonding and RADIUS under MikroTik's licensing limits. RouterOS v7 supports UEFI boot on x86 systems. Ideal for ISP gateways, enterprise routers, PPPoE servers, HotSpot systems and advanced network appliances.
Final pricing may vary by configuration, quantity, delivery and project requirements.
Connected infrastructure engineered for speed and resilience.
MikroTik RouterOS Level 6 (L6) is the highest traditional RouterOS license level for compatible x86 PC/router installations. Level 6 is officially designated by MikroTik as the Controller license and is designed for advanced routing, ISP, HotSpot, VPN, gateway and network-management applications.
This listing is intended for UEFI-capable x86 RouterOS installations. RouterOS v7 introduced UEFI boot support for x86 systems, making it suitable for many modern PC-based and industrial router platforms that use UEFI firmware.
RouterOS Level 6 removes several user and tunnel-count restrictions found in lower traditional RouterOS license levels. It is particularly suitable for ISP and enterprise environments that require large numbers of PPPoE, VPN or HotSpot connections.

RouterOS provides a comprehensive networking platform for building advanced routers and gateways. Depending on the RouterOS version, installed packages and hardware capabilities, it can provide routing, firewall, NAT, VLAN, VPN, QoS, HotSpot, PPPoE, RADIUS, bandwidth management, monitoring and other networking functions.
UEFI boot support for x86 was introduced with RouterOS v7. This allows RouterOS to operate on compatible modern x86 systems configured to boot using UEFI firmware.
UEFI describes the system's boot method and should not be confused with the RouterOS license level. Level 6 defines the RouterOS licensing tier, while UEFI describes the supported firmware boot environment.
RouterOS x86 licensing uses a unique Software ID. MikroTik documents that the x86 Software ID is bound to the storage device's MBR. A Level 6 license is therefore intended for one licensed installation and should not be assumed to be freely transferable between arbitrary disks or installations.
Formatting or re-imaging licensed storage using ordinary non-MikroTik disk tools can destroy the license. Always follow MikroTik's supported installation and licensing procedures when reinstalling or modifying a licensed x86 RouterOS system.
RouterOS x86 Level 6 and MikroTik CHR are different licensing systems. Cloud Hosted Router (CHR) uses Free, P1, P10 and P-Unlimited licenses rather than traditional Level 4, Level 5 and Level 6 licensing.
