TDK EPCOS B82722 Series Common Mode Choke

The TDK EPCOS B82722 series is a family of common-mode chokes designed for suppression of common-mode electromagnetic interference (EMI) in power and electronic circuits. These components use two windings on a common magnetic core to attenuate unwanted high-frequency common-mode noise while allowing the required operating current to pass through the circuit.

Common-Mode Noise Suppression

The two coupled windings are arranged so that normal operating currents largely cancel their magnetic effects, while common-mode interference sees a comparatively high impedance.
