The Texas Instruments UCC27524A is a dual-channel, high-speed, low-side gate-driver IC designed to drive MOSFET, IGBT and GaN FET power switches. Each non-inverting channel can source and sink up to 5 A peak current, while the inputs can tolerate negative voltage down to -5 V for improved robustness in noisy power-conversion systems.

Two independent gate-drive channels provide matched timing for applications such as synchronous rectification and dual-switch power stages. The channels may also be connected in parallel when greater effective drive capability is required.
TTL- and CMOS-compatible hysteretic inputs support high noise immunity. Independent enable functions, undervoltage lockout and outputs held low during startup and shutdown help provide controlled switching behavior.
